On Saturday Captain Keith Logan of Standing Down Charters in Holden Beach NC had the honor and privilege of participating in Military Appreciation Day. Captain Logan accompanied soldiers of the US Marine Corps as well as the US Air Force to the high seas for a day of offshore fishing. A steady King Mackerel bite was found at the Shark Hole along with a few sharks. Once the bite begin to slow Captain Logan moved on off to Lighthouse Rocks where the King bite resumed. The Kings fell for both a naked live pogy along with a black and purple skirt with a pogy in tow. It was great day had by all and Standing Down Charters salutes these fine young warriors and welcomes the opportunity anytime to show its appreciation to these guys and ladies who everyday protect this great country.
